Cask of Stone Sublimely Self Righteous Ale this Thursday

I'm insanely excited to tap into a fresh cask of Stone Sublimely Self Righteous Ale this Thursday and available through the weekend until we run out. You see, for years, people have said that the Stone beer I most resemble is Arrogant Bastard Ale, but Sublimely Self Righteous is truly a beer after my own heart. It's bitter, but it's also very dark. So now hopefully those sniveling, whiny, insignificant people will stop calling me arrogant!
Not everyone will like this beer (not everyone likes me...), but those who can appreciate a strong, dark and bitter ale will be rewarded with a surprisingly bright and fresh experience. Loads of fresh hop flavors over a rich, roasty malt base. Imagine peeling a bushel of fresh California citrus in the middle of a pine forest after a rain, down the road from a coffee roasting plant, or better yet, just come in and try the beer!
This beer will be served from a cask - but what does that mean, anyway? The technical answer: cask ale is naturally carbonated on live yeast. If you said, huh?, just now, let me explain it this way. Regular draft beer is a good delivery system, like the fresh, not from concentrate orange juice at the grocery store. Cask beer is like orange juice squeezed directly into your glass in your own kitchen. Draft beer is like a good cup of coffee from your local shop. Cask ale is like freshly ground coffee in a French press. Get it? Good.
