Belgian Dinner

Where to START???!!! The Dinner was absolutely one of the best outings I can remember! The food was unbelievable, the beer pairings spot-on and the flow of the courses was unquestionably perfect. Thanks to hosts Chris and Dennis for making this a great evening but the most compliments belong to Chef Christy. With 30 folks eagerly waiting this Belgian feast as well as a FULL restaurant, her skills were tested and she did not wince! I don't think I even have to mention that the seafood was cooked to perfection, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Carbonnade Flamande (which I'm promised will make its way onto the menu in some form), easily one of the best beef stews I've ever tasted. Thats right, BEEF STEW at a restaurant specializing in seafood!!

Searocket Bistro continues to improve when seemingly they cannot get any better! Thanks for contributing to the community and also serving as a great place to meet and eat!

Craig and I enjoy your restaurant so much! We eat out often and I am always curious to try new places. I was particularly looking forward to trying yours. We were not disappointed ! In fact, we have dined at Sea Rocket several times now!
The "real" food you offer and your genuine sincerity give a warmth to your environment. And you project that in the food you prepare. I'm not going to mention the sea urchin and the sardines (oops! It slipped out) that I am craving at this very moment, not to mention the thought inspired salads and fresh fish...
Congratulations on your well deserved success, Elena and Dennis, but shhhh! don't let the word get out our we may not get a seat!

Sea Rocket is our favourite place to eat! It's one of the few places out there that supports local farmers and healthy cousine! The only thing I wish that Sea Rocket could offer is more restaurants in San Diego! = ) Eric Dobbs

and leaving Monday to drive to San Diego from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

I chanced upon your website while doing a search for locally raised chicken and eggs. I am delighted with your approach to health, support for local growers, sustainability, tastiness, and fun. :-)
