Lobster is Here!

Hello Lobster fans!

This is just a quick note to tell you that we've whipped up a delicious, savory Local Lobster Risotto. It is made with the tail meat from the local Spiny Lobster fished up by our friend John Law, mixed into the chewy short grain rice that has been seasoned with onion, tomato, and lobster broth. Christy has also thrown in some portabella mushrooms and serves it with some rich lobster sauce around the edges. It is topped with an avocado puree which gives it a cool and refreshing touch. John claims that this season is not looking so good unfortunately since the lower layers of ocean water didn't warm up enough this year, and what he is catching is therefore so expensive that most of it is being shipped to overseas markets that will pay the premium...so come and get it while it lasts and support our local fishery!
