Our friend Phil who has Sage Mountain Farm had a group from Seeds of Change visit his farm the other day. The local news there did a story on it with some great video. Seeds of Change has the mission of helping preserve biodiversity by growing and distributing seeds well-adapted for low-input, organic gardening and farming. Basically, they don't want Monsanto and the other big chemical companies to be the only source of seeds and for the other varieties of plants to become extinct. Sounds like a sci-fi movie and fortunately Seeds of Change is helping make sure that doesn't happen.

By the way, we are a drop off point for his CSA program if you'd like to get farm direct produce delivered to you each week. We also use his fruits and vegetables at the restaurant as much as we can.
