There are lots of green networking groups around, but there didn't used to be one specifically for business networking. If you're a small business owner, you know how important networking can be.

Jan Schalkwijk, a money manager specializing in green investing, started a green business networking group about a year ago. I went to one of these mixers a couple months ago at Pizza Fusion in Hillcrest. It's more interactive than just a social mixer, so it gives you a chance to learn a lot about everyone there.

Since Sea Rocket is hosting this month's mixer (Wednesday, March 25th from 6 to 8pm), we're going to share a bit about some of the things we're up to at the restaurant like working with Recon Recycling, composting, being a CSA (community supported agriculture) drop off point, and switching to green cleaning products.
