Slow Food Mixer next Wednesday

This is going to be a big one, folks!! We've already got over 170 people RSVPed for the upcoming Slow Food mixer that we're hosting. Slow Food San Diego is in the process of creating a new group that focuses more on our urban areas and on events that are more affordable than they have typically been. This fits right in with what we do at Sea Rocket Bistro, so I guess we were a natural choice for one of their first events. Starlite hosted the first mixer last month and it was a blast. This is going to be a great time, so I hope you can join us for some free food, $3 local draft beers and $5 glasses of wine.
Here's the lowdown:
What: Slow Food Mixer (no membership required, and no entrance fees!)
When: Wednesday, November 19th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm... and then some
Where: Sea Rocket Bistro plus additional space in the art gallery across the street
Specials: $3 draft beers and $5 wines- tickets sold at the door
A number of the nice people we buy from will likely be coming. This would be a great chance for you to meet them. Mitch & Peter (sea urchin), John Law (lobster), Romolo Ghio (seabass and other fish), Steve Foltz (Chesapeake Fish Co.), Erik Gabele (mussels, clams, oysters - Carlsbad Aquafarms), Jeff Smoot (gouda cheese), Cid Da Silva (avocado oil - Bella Vado), Will (chocolate - Eclipse), Assenti's (pasta from Little Italy), Joanne (bread - Cardamom Bakery next door to us), Peter Zien (goat cheese & beer - AleSmith Brewing Co.), Albert Lewis (hemp napkins & eco-clothing - Hempy's), Recon (recycling), Salerno (wine)...
