Our Grand Opening celebrations last weekend with Lightning Brewery brought in the largest crowds we've seen yet at the bistro! Jim Crute, President and Brewmaster, spent the evening with us on Friday, delivering drinks and chatting with guests, and Saturday we had Mike and Joe hanging out with us, mingling also with the visiting fishermen. Several guests at the bar particularly enjoyed some of Mitch Hobron's stories about diving for urchin.

Beer flights were very popular, although we ran out of the Amber Ale first on Sunday night! Thanks to everyone at Lightning for coming by and being our first featured brewery of the summer. This weekend we unfortunately do not have anyone scheduled, due to the Bluesapalooza music and beer festival happening up in Mammoth, but we'll continue our beer and seafood pairings the following weekend with Stone Brewing Co.
