Getting the newsletter out a bit early this month (for next month) because….drum roll…Beer Week is almost here! Enjoy 10 days straight of craft beer-related events all over town, including this schedule of events at Sea Rocket. Most of our events this year are informal- reservations are only required for our Veteran’s Day Cider Dinner on Sunday the 11th, though we do recommend making reservations in general since we anticipate being busy throughout that time. We’ve got some fun and interesting evenings planned, and some incredibly special beers reserved that we look forward to sharing with you!
On Tuesday, October 30th we’ll be featuring the Cismontane Nopalito de Trigo, a white wheat beer fermented with hefeweizen yeast and infused with the juice of the prickly pear, part of their native species collection. It will be paired with an Orange Glazed Pork Belly with Potatoes and Kale for 30th on 30th.
Of course, Halloween is on Wednesday and as part of our “Wine & Cheesy Movie Night” series, we’ll be showing a double feature of the Mel Brooks/Gene Wilder 1974 classic Young Frankenstein + the original version of the 1941 werewolf movie The Wolf Man. Come in costume (pretty please!) and we’ll give you your first drink at half price!
We’ll be continuing our Wednesday movie nights in November, with the following lineup of cheeseball flicks for you. Movies start at 7-ish, our Bottle Night discounts are available, and we offer a special Cheese & Charcuterie Platter just for this event.

This Thursday, November 1st, we’re hosting a French Vegan Cooking Class with Chef Jenn Felmley from 6-9pm. Feel free to call last-minute if you’re interested, as sometimes we do have spaces open up the day of. And if we are booked, you can sign up in advance for her next class!
During Beer Week, we’ll also be opening for a special Vegan Sunday Brunch event on Sunday the 4th, run by the folks at True Kitchen Creatives. They’ve got a fantastic, and totally vegan, menu planned, and our beverage list will be available to accompany it. The brunch will run from 9am-2pm.
We’ll be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22nd, but open all days surrounding the holiday.
